Main polygon old growth Adenostoma fasciculatum with some openings with Eriogonum fasciculatum on convexities. Concavities contain more Quercus berberidifolia with Adenostoma fasciculatum and Arctostaphylos glauca. Old fire scar on upper 1/3 of slope, with Eriogonum fasciculatum dominating and Lotus scoparius, Salvia apiana, Salvia mellifera and Yucca whipplei. Adjacent alliances: Quercus berberidifolia on lower concavity, bottom is Quercus agrifolia-Platanus racemosa, upperslope is Eriogonum fasciculatum-Salvia apiana-Lotus scoparius
